Academy Juniors Fall Development Session - Ages 3-12

The Academy Juniors Development Session provides a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for young players to come to learn the game of soccer through training and gameplay. We help players aged 3 to 12 (11-12 year olds only in Oldham) grow in the sport by introducing them to formalized weekend game-play in addition to weekly training sessions.

 

Participants practice once per week in sessions facilitated by paid coaches and supported by Academy Directors. Our specialized curriculum helps players grow their technical skills and apply these skills in age-appropriate game-day environments.

  • Game Days (ONLY for 5-12 year olds) are the same time each Saturday:
    • 5-6s - 8:00-9:00am
    • 7-8s - 9:30-10:30am
    • 9-10s - 10:30-11:30am
    • 11-12s - 10:30-11:30am or 11:30-12:30pm (OLDHAM ONLY)
  • Practices are held once per week for 50 minutes (Mondays-Louisville / Wednesdays-Oldham) and games are hosted Saturdays.
  • Louisville Location - Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center (801 Edith Road, 40206)
  • Oldham Location - Oldham Soccer Park (4305 W Highway 146, 40010)
  • Fall Session Includes: 8 Practices + 8 Games

DEVELOPMENT CENTERS: Technical Training

Fall I: August 16-September 20

Fall II: October 4-November 8

This is a separate program from the recreational Development Session and does not include forming teams or having games on Saturday. Through this six-week program, we aim to provide more technical and tactical training for young players looking to get more touches on the soccer ball. 

  • 6-Session Program
    • Fall I Session Dates: August 16-September 20
    • Fall II Session Dates: October 4-November 8
  • 1-50 Minute Session per Week
  • Includes a Combination of Fun Soccer activities and Small-Sided Game
  • Cost Per Session = $96 per player
  • LOCATION: Lynn Family Sports Vision & Trains Facility
