The moves include Paolo DelPiccolo's promotion to boys director.

Dear LouCity & Racing Academy Families,

We're excited to share some updates regarding our organizational chart for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.

First, we're thrilled to announce that Kiley Polk will be stepping into the role of U8-U10 Academy Director. Kiley's dedication and passion for youth development have been evident, and her previous interim role in 2023 showcased her ability to make a positive impact. She will transition from her current role as the LouCity-Racing Oldham Assistant Director. With her kinesiology and exercise science degree and USSF C license, Kiley is well-equipped to lead our academy and its staff into a successful future.

Additionally, we're pleased to introduce our former LouCity captain, Paolo DelPiccolo, as the new LouCity Academy Director. Paolo's impressive playing career and immediate positive impact on our high school-aged teams make him the ideal candidate for this role. Paolo, who’s currently finishing his USSF B License, will oversee the continued growth of our side. Joining him is Joe Jessop, who has done remarkable work as the LouCity-Racing Oldham Director. Joe, also finishing his B License, will step in as the new LouCity Academy Assistant Director, overseeing the U11-U14 age groups.

In our LouCity and Racing Oldham locations, we're fortunate to have Shaun Francis and Clay Deveau at the helm. Frano's illustrious playing career, spanning more than 10 years in Major League Soccer and including his tenure as a Jamaican International — alongside his time with our very own LouCity pro side — provides a wealth of experience and insight. His coaching qualifications, including a USSF C License, further solidify his suitability for the role of LouCity-Racing Oldham Director.

Clay brings his wealth of teaching experience to the table. As the LouCity-Racing Oldham Assistant Director, he will also enhance our academy by providing coaching education to the club. Clay's dedication to teaching pedagogy aligns seamlessly with our commitment to coach development, ensuring that our staff has the skills and knowledge necessary to nurture the next generation of players.

We're confident that these updates will further strengthen our academy and enhance the development opportunities for all our players. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to the exciting season ahead.

Warm regards,

Guillermo Sanchez
Academy Executive Director
