Travis Pelley
Academy South Assistant Director
Travis is from Elizabethtown, KY and grew up immersed in the sports culture of the area. He developed a passion for soccer that has only continued to deepen over the years, particularly after his kids became involved with the game. After earning his Communication degree and Business Marketing minor from the University of Kentucky, he returned to his hometown in the early 2000’s and has been giving back to the community in different roles ever since.
Travis began coaching youth soccer in 2017 and has been part of every stage of the South Campus’ journey—from Athletico Flames to Elizabethtown FC to today’s Lou City & Racing Academy South. He holds both the U.S. Soccer Grassroots and D Licenses and is committed to creating a positive, developmental environment for young players.
His coaching philosophy is simple: help players grow as athletes and as people, building confidence, character, and love for the game.
